Card for grief/ loss of parent

If someone you know is experiencing grief or the loss of a loved one, this card lets them know you that you won't try to "fix" their grief, but that you are there for them however they need you.

Written and illustrated by Nikki Mueller in memory of her father, Nikki's artwork conveys so much emotion- light as well as grief. For anyone who has lost a parent or loved-one, Nikki's art and words give space for that vast grief and love.

Nikki's advice for supporting someone experiencing the loss of a loved one: 

Nikki implores people to acknowledge the pain that comes with the loss of a loved one. She says that after the death of her father, sometimes people wouldn't say anything at all, as if she could pretend everything was fine. Nikki says you should say something because your friend is thinking about their loss even if you don't bring it up.

You don't have to fix it (and you shouldn't try) you just have to be there for them for however they are experiencing their grief.
